Color Collide – Cinnamon & Eucalyptus

Inspiration comes from so many different places and one thing I really gravitate towards are new and different color palettes.  This new series, Color Collide, will hopefully give you open eyes toward shades you have forgotten about, gotten tired of, or maybe never enjoyed.  Sometimes pairing two colors together gives them new life.  Today I want to share a palette with you that I have really been drawn to lately- cinnamon and eucalyptus.

Call them whatever you’d like (rust and teal, mint and coral, orange and blue) but this color combo has me really excited.  Here are some inspiration images:

Whether it’s in art, nature, home decor, or fashion, these two tones add interest without being overwhelming.  I feel it’s a fresh palette for any season but especially gives a Spring vibe.  Doesn’t that room look so cozy and inviting?  It makes me want to take some time away, read a book, and maybe have a sip or two of that amazing grapefruit and sage cocktail!

Now, it can be easy to peruse Pinterest or Instagram for inspiration, but it can be even more difficult to find items to re-create the look.  Well, you’re in luck!  I did some work for you!  Here are a few ideas with sources to get a room started or to do a smaller scale place setting.
