OUR STORY

Encouraging personality-packed spaces while making design less intimidating.

Hey, I’m Tasha

Ever since I was little, I was aware that my surroundings affected me. I quickly realized that I wanted a space to inspire me. With magazines strewn about my room, I created collages and dreamt of magical spaces. I would wander the thrift store with my mom and create rooms highlighting monkey lamps or vintage chairs or funky portraits. For as long as I can remember, I gravitated toward design. I designed for fun for a few years, helping friends and giving advice via Instagram. In 2020, I was given the opportunity to work as the designer for a local cabinet shop and remodeling company.

After working with contractors and helping with project management, I quickly realized how intimidating the design process can be. My goal here is to make design more approachable. From sharing tips for the design and remodel process to my own DIYs and thrifting, I’m here to help you on your journey to a unique home.

After all, you’re not boring. Your home shouldn’t be either.

Ok, but what’s with Rufus & Henrietta??

So, here’s the thing. I like to name inanimate objects. When my husband and I moved into our first home together, we had a lion door knocker and an owl door stop. The lion was aptly named Rufus while the owl became Henrietta. They were the greeters at our door; the reminder of home. These names will forever be home to me.
