Daringly Imperfect in the New Year
Hey hey everyone! I hope you all have had an amazing Christmas celebrating Jesus’ birth with your loved ones. We’ve had packed schedules full of programs, parties, LOTS of last-minute shopping, wrapping with packing tape, maybe a few breakdowns, and great memories that will last a lifetime.

The new year is quickly approaching and instead of it being overwhelming, I’m really hopeful for 2019. I have made goals for this blog. This is so much more than just a blog to me. I don’t make any money off of it (although that would be nice someday), but I get joy from it. This blog enables me to use my creativity in DIY and design while connecting with others. I am a self-proclaimed introvert and honestly struggle with small-talk with others but having a platform where I can discuss my passion, I see myself opening up and getting excited to make relationships.
You all have had a part in helping my passion come to life. Creating this content for you is truly a blessing, but I am human. I have struggled a lot, especially in this past year, with self-doubt and insecurity. There have been many times where I have come up with excuses as to why I should not continue with this blog, but I’m taking this new year as a fresh start. I’m going to be open this year; no holding back. As a mom, I want my kids to reach for the stars, to get back up when they fall, and never give up. Why wouldn’t I adopt this to my own life and serve as a role-model for them?

Be #daringlyimperfect
So be prepared for a lot of content this year; more home decor and design, mom posts, thrifting posts, and whatever may come to inspire me. I hope you will join me on this journey in being #daringlyimperfect.
