Do you ever just feel like you belong somewhere? That’s this house for me and our family. Everything felt right from the moment we saw it for sale online. I’m so thankful for this beautiful home and the privilege we have to make it our own.

I hope you all have the happiest of Thanksgivings this week (if you’re in the US). I’ve been doing so much planning for 2021 and will likely not be on here much until then so I can focus on behind the scenes stuff as well as spending time with family. I appreciate you all so much and I can’t wait to share what’s in store for next year!

Next up on the home makeover train is our main bedroom. While this has only gone through phase 1, what a difference from where we’ve started! (And how nice to not be sleeping in the living room anymore! Any of my O.G’s out there remember that?!) and actually this week, this room will be getting a little bit of a change so stay tuned for that.

We’re continuing our home-iversary week with the nursery before and after. From polka dotted ceilings to a fun color story that our daughters can grow up with to using vintage and heirloom pieces, I’m so happy with how this room turned out!

Today’s before and after in celebration of our 1 year home-iversary is our family room. From dark paneling and orange carpet with an almost hidden fireplace to the coziest of rooms. We are so proud of this space!
