One Room Challenge Spring 2020 – Week 1 – Bathroom Design Plan

Well, this was a little last minute but I decided to go ahead and do the One Room Challenge. If you’re unfamiliar, the One Room Challenge is a 7 week-long challenge to transform a space. (You can see what I did last year here.) There are featured designers and guest participants. Anyone with a blog and/or Instagram can join and it’s a wonderful way to cheer each other on and be a part of a community.

One Room Challenge

This year, I decided to do our kids’/guest bathroom. Our whole new house is full of muted colors, textures, and patterns. For this space, I wanted to continue that feel, make it functional for the kids, but also an inviting space for our guests. Just for an idea of how far this space will come, here’s a before picture. All the 70’s goodness.

  • Paint walls
  • Paint ceiling
  • Stencil above vanity
  • Paint vanity
  • Order all the pieces
  • Wallpaper pocket door
  • Style

I hope you’ll follow along as I embark on this fun and challenging adventure! Click here to see all of the other One Room Challenge participants’ designs as well.
